I was calling auto shops for a quote and what drew me to Lange's auto is that they were the ONLY one who gave me a price quote like I asked. I didn't have time or money to keep towing my car everywhere for people to just "look" at it. Had it towed there, and after a few days come to find out it was a vaccuum leak. They were fast and friendly. The only cons that I have were: When I called for the update on my car, I was told what it actually was but also other things. I was given a price of over 3,000. When I laughed and said nobody has that to throw at a repair let alone that's close to how much I owe on it, THEN he told me my car was actually fixed and it was only over $200. I really appreciate him telling me the other things he noticed, but it came across as a little disingenuous because we all know autoshops like to make their money especially during this inflation. I would've preferred he simply told me my car was done, etc and then the specifics cause over 3,000 dollars is stressful. Also, he didn't test drive it- I thought that was strange. I've never had someone not trust drive after a repair to verify their own work. Ever. Outside of that, I may or may not come back BUT I will say my experience was positive and I will recommend them. Four brakes renewed. Took the car to Michigan twice this weekend and all ran fine. Work done on time !
