Lange’s Automotive is the best! I found them after I had a terrible experience at a different automotive repair shop. I looked to see who had good reviews in the area and found them…and they live up to their good reputation! My negative experience at the other automotive shop involved paying large sums of money for them to misdiagnose my car, take forever to fix it, and give it repairs it didn’t even need only for my car to still not work after they gave it back to me! After getting fed up, I found Lange’s had good reviews, so I took my car to them in hopes of finally having a functioning vehicle. They have a wonderful website (the other automotive place did not), you can schedule an appointment right there on the website (unlike the other place), and/or call them and someone will actually answer or you leave a message (the other automotive place didn’t even have an answering machine!). Because of these amenities, I was able to get my car in there and within less than half a business day, they were able to correctly diagnose what the problem was and fix it (it took the other automotive place three days to diagnose it, a week to fix it, and they didn’t even fix/diagnose it correctly!). The best part was that my repair was less than half of what the bad automotive place charged me. Actually, the best part was that they were very knowledgeable, courteous and honest. They are good at what they do for a living, and possess great interpersonal communication skills (in contrast to other automotive places where they are constantly crabby on the phone). They understand that people have to work for a living, and because I work nearby, they will give me a ride back to work after dropping off my vehicle so that I don’t have to miss work while my vehicle is being repaired! This is great for someone like me who works three different jobs! Lange’s has become our designated family automotive repair place. We have taken our Honda, Toyota, Jeep and Chevy there for maintenance and repairs and they’ve delivered excellent service each time! They are incredibly knowledgeable about many different vehicles. On more than one occasion, they have gone above and beyond the call of duty. For example, we took our Jeep in for an oil change and they diagnosed the clunking sound we were hearing, told us about how a new track bar will fix the problem, and offered an estimate for repair if we chose to fix it. They didn’t charge us for the diagnosis, just the oil change, which I thought was very generous, and we learned something new about our vehicle! They will not try to nickel and dime you here. They are honest and straightforward…which is what I believe every place should be but it is hard to come by nowadays! Keep up the good work Lange’s!
